Privacy policy

PokeScan collects the minimum it needs to run your account, your hunts and your alerts. We don't sell personal data and we don't run ad trackers.

1. What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and a hashed password.

What you save: hunts, alert rules, favorites, target prices, your sales-tax setting and, if you add one, your Discord webhook URL.

Billing: Stripe handles payments. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status, never your card number.

Technical data: your IP address and browser user agent on each sign-in session, plus standard server logs used to keep the service secure and working.

2. How we use it

To run your account, scan listings for your saved hunts, send the alerts you ask for, process your subscription, send account emails (password resets and trial reminders) and keep the service secure.

3. Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run PokeScan: Stripe for payments, our email provider for account emails, and our hosting and database provider. Discord receives alert messages only if you add a webhook. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

4. Cookies

PokeScan sets one essential cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Marketplaces you click through to have their own cookie policies.

5. Retention and your choices

We keep your data while your account exists. Alert history and listing snapshots are pruned over time. You can edit or delete hunts, favorites and settings any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data entirely; billing records Stripe must keep for tax purposes stay with Stripe.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your data. Contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.
